The sun, the vines, beautiful Lake Caldaro, the mountains and woods around a picturesque corner of earth served as inspiration for our Hotel Plattenhof. For a place of retreat, of quality time, and of indulgence.

This unique location is where, in 2018, our hotel at the wine road in South Tyrol was opened, in which we combine wine and design. When choosing the colours and design for the hotel, we took inspiration from the grapevine:

• The ground floor is comparable to the vine: warm browns and grays provide a cosy feel-good atmosphere in the wine hotel.
• On the first floor, the grape of the Gewürztraminers served as inspiration: golden-yellow fabrics and precious materials run like a golden thread through the rooms.
• The second floor shimmers in soft greens, similar to the leaves of the vine.

Large panoramic windows and detail-oriented furnishings bring light and warmth into the hotel. Furthermore, the topic of wine is everywhere – after all, we are winemakers and hosts by passion, and you will feel that in our hotel at South Tyrol’s wine road. Welcome!
